A LIFE-SIZE polar bear and magical unicorn helped transform Acorn Village into a winter wonderland.
Old Christmas trees, fairy lights and a snow machine were used to create the festive scene which has raised £3,000 so far.
Visitors to the centre in Clacton Road, Mistley, also got to buy refreshments and gifts from the Christmas Market on Saturday.

Kate Williams, from Acorn Village, said: “It was brilliant.
“The residents built the amazing unicorn – everyone put work in, including our volunteers. “
The event was so successful the winter wonderland, which was designed and made by the residents, will be staying until December 19.
People can visit between 10.30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.
