TWO little heroes have been given special awards by the ambulance service after going to the aid of their diabetic mum.
Brothers Alf and Sammuel Roberts, aged ten and eight, called 999 after their diabetic mum Denise Williams, 41, would not wake up at their home in James Road, Clacton.
They have now been handed Chief Officer Commendations after carefully following a call operator’s instructions.
Their quick actions stopped their mum from slipping into a coma.
