STROKE survivors strode out along the seafront for a sponsored walk.
Members of the Dovercourt Stroke Group were joined by friends and family to walk one mile from West End Lane to the Low Lighthouse last weekend.
More than 60 people took part in the second annual event and activities coordinator Liz Goldsmith was delighted at the turnout.
“The members of the group were absolutely amazing; some walking further than they had previously walked in the past, and their energy and enthusiasm touched everyone who came to see them walk,” she said.
“Support from the local community was super and the group were extremely proud of their achievements.”
Sponsorship money is now being collected and counted.
