A PIANO teacher has pulled off a classical music coup by arranging for a world-class pianist to tickle the ivories in Clacton.
Peter Thorne, of Kirby-le- Soken, convinced old university friend and acclaimed musician Peter Seivewright to perform at St James’ Church on Tower Road, next Friday at 7pm.
The pair read music together at Oxford University in the mid seventies, and after reconnecting on Facebook, Mr Thorne has written a composition for his colleague to perform.
Tickets are £10 on the door or calling 01255 852502 or emailing pthorne1812@btinternet.com
