A TEENAGER was stabbed at a noodle bar.
The victim, 18, and from Colchester, sustained wounds to her upper body and was taken to Colchester General Hospital, an Essex Police spokesman said.
The incident happened at Fai's noodle bar in St Botolph’s Street, Colchester, on Monday evening.
Ya Li, 24, of Alexander Fleming Road, in Guildford, was charged with Grievous Bodily Harm and appeared before Colchester Magistrates' Court.
No plea was entered and Li was bailed until her next appearance at Chelmsford Crown Court, set to be the first week of February 2014.
Detectives would like to speak with any witnesses who have not yet spoken to them.
