Rainbow guides in Maldon celebrate anniversary
RAINBOW guides are celebrating 21 years of learning, laughter and fun.
And leader of the third Maldon group, Maureen Gaines, has taken the opportunity on the anniversary to explain just why the groups, for girls aged five to seven, are so popular.
She said: They look, learn, laugh and love. Being a rainbow guide includes crafts, games, thinking of others and having fun.
"The girls are fantastic, a great bunch of children. We have 18 from all across Maldon and the group helps them interact with children from other schools."
To get involved in their 22nd year or to find out more about rainbow guides and brownies in Maldon, call 07926 465986.
