OPENING night is only hours away as the combination of murder and comedy is set to enthrall audiences in Tollesbury.

The comic murder mystery will transport audiences from Tollesbury in 2008 to Bagshot House in 1940 where something foul is afoot.

Tollesbury Amateur Players (Tap) will be performing Death by Fatal Murder, by Peter Gordon, a comedy whodunnit for three nights from Thursday May 15 to Saturday May 17.

Follow Detective Inspector Pratt as he tries to unravel the mystery of whodunnit with amateur sleuth Miss Joan Maple close behind.

Find out what Nancy Allwright, owner of Bagshot House really knows and work out who is telling the truth and who is lying to the hapless Pratt.

Tap features performers from the Maldon district, including Gracie Neal a promising singer from the region as Ginny Farquhar and the show will be held at The Centre, East Street, Tollesbury.

For last minute tickets call the hotline on 01621 869818.
