TICKETS are still available for an evening to celebrate 400 years of education in Maldon.

A reunion dinner is being held at Plume School in Fambridge Road, Maldon, on Saturday June 21 as part of the celebrations to mark 400 years of continuous secondary education in the town.

A number of past students and members of staff have already registered to attend the event which will include speeches, dinner, reminiscing and dancing.

Bob Barnes, a member of the team organising the celebrations, explained the aim is to get 400 people to attend the dinner so there is one diner for every year of education.

Tickets cost £25 and are available by visiting the school website at www.plume.essex.sch.uk and clicking on the 400th anniversary logo.

From there you can fill in a form and send it into the school.
