An autistic society has taken delivery of a new minibus which will help children to college and on day trips.
Essex Autistic Society's Doucecroft Further Education Dept in Kelvedon gratefully accepted the new set of wheels last week.
The bus is the third donated to the school since 2004 by The Lord's Taverners - a charity which helps children with special needs to enjoy cricket and other sports activities.
Barbara Morrison, manager at the further education department, said: "They (the Lady Taverner's) have been fantastic and when we gave them a guided tour they were really interested in what was going on.
"We could not afford to replace big equipment like that."
