With the current state of play, nobody is buying houses, so why not leave this land alone? I understand why the football club is keen to see this project come to fruition, but it is a greenfield development. This is a natural break between Rayne and Braintree and should be left alone. The only deveopment worth doing is a new rail link between Braintree and Stansted, so taking more vehicles off our over-conjested roads. At least where the football ground is now, it easy for locals to walk too Unfortunately, I can't see Braintree getting gates of 6,000. Even if 600 homes are built next to the stadium, I don't think they would get many extra fans, but I do expext Braintree Council would get lots more noise complaints! − zeboczulu, Braintree

I worked in a supermarket for two years and I'm afraid I have to agree with what the supermarket chose to do. Underage drinking is a really significant bad problem at the moment and as far as the supermarket is concerned, she could be buying for her younger brother who is underage. If she has a problem with the supermarket policy, why doesn't she just go in on her own. A teenager of that age is very very likely to drink, so the supermarket is looking after itself, it's itscriminal records and liquor licence on the line.
