North Essex: Louise is nursery star

A PROMISING young nursery practitioner has been named as a finalist in a national competition.
Louise Bruce, 18, was nominated for Nursery World magazine’s newcomer of the year award after impressing her colleagues at Orchard Barns Kindergarten in Ardleigh.
Her manager, Susan Moss-Thomas, said: “Louise has shown star quality and really deserved to be nominated."
Louise herself, of Upper Street, Stratford St Mary, says she was overwhelmed when she found out she was a finalist.
“I’m very excited and pleased to be in the final, and am looking forward to the awards ceremony," she said.
She will now attend the Nursery World awards ceremony at the Hurlingham Club in London on November 21.
