A car crashed into a wall outside a popular garden centre off the A120.
The trunk road was partially blocked in both directions after the crash, which is believed to have involved two vehicles, outside Cherry Lane Garden Centre, Braintree.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust were called to the scene at 2.53pm on Monday.
A spokesman said: "We dispatched an ambulance crew and the Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene where they cared for two patients.
"They were discharged at the scene and needed no further care."
The road was cleared by around 4.30pm, however there were long delays in both directions.
The wall which one vehicle hit is part of the gated entrance for the garden centre.
Cherry Lane Garden Centre did not respond to requests for comment.
