Crooks broke into a BMW and stole its steering wheel, front console and a Sat Nav from inside.
Police want to identify the two men pictured in the CCTV images in relation to the burglary and theft from the vehicle.
The incident took place overnight on Wednesday, March 7, when the car was parked in Pintail Crescent, Braintree.
The crooks forced entry to the black BMW between 5pm on Wednesday, March 7, and 8am on Thursday, March 8.
When inside, they removed the steering wheel, front console, a built in Sat Nav and radio.
At around 2.30am, a garage at another property was entered and searched by nothing was taken.
Officers would like to trace the men as part of their investigation.
