Students at a pre-prep school raised enough cash to sponsor their own guide dog puppy.
Pupils at Felsted Pre-Prep School have been collecting cash over the year for the project, raising £2,500 and they will now receive updates on the dog's progress.
The youngsters were even treated to a visit from the adorable animal, which they have named Teddy.
Jac Atkins, headteacher of Felsted Pre-Prep, said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting Teddy for the first time and developing their own understanding of how the money they raised goes towards helping other people.”
Whilst at the school, the children were taught about some of Teddy's everyday tasks which make up his training, including travelling on a bus, walking around a town and going into shops and cafes.
