Police appeal following fraud offence
POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a fraud offence in a coffee shop.
A man used a £10 note to pay for a cheap drink but was able to confuse a worker by changing his mind and ended up leaving with £80.
The incident took place last Sunday at 4.50pm in Costa Coffee along Coggeshall Road, Braintree.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Anyone with information asked to contact Pc Nicky Smith at Braintree police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
