THE NHS has released the details of the pharmacies across mid Essex which will be open on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group is reminding patients they can visit their pharmacist on Monday if they need medical help.
They have also advised people to make sure they ask for repeat prescriptions in plenty of time and know which pharmacies are open.
Dr Alistair Lipp, Medical Director at NHS England Midlands and East (East) said: “Your local pharmacy can help you with more than you might think. Pharmacists offer expert, confidential advice and treatment for many minor health problems.
“As most GP surgeries will be closed on bank holiday Monday, we would like to encourage patients to order any medication they need in plenty of time so they have a good supply during the bank holiday.”
Pharmacies open on Monday:
- Boots, George Yard, Braintree – 10am to 4pm
- Tesco Pharmacy, The Square, Great Notley – 9am to 6pm
