THE public are being invited in to Braintree’s Warner Textile Archive for a special open event.
On Friday, September 8, and Saturday, September 9, the archive is throwing open its doors free of charge.
A rich design resource documenting the former works of Warner and Sons from the 1800s, the archive’s collection includes textiles, paper designs, printing blocks, photographs and other documents.
Talks on the day offering a little more about the history will be given on both days.
The gift shop will be open as usual for those needing to find a unique present for someone.
The archive is open on both days between 10am and 4pm.
