A PRIMARY school has been praised for its strong leadership in its latest Ofsted report.

White Court School, in Ennerdale Avenue, Great Notley, was rated as good by the governing body during a short inspection carried out on March, 16.

The report states that the school is under “strong and improving leadership” and now has a “sharper focus on pupil achievement and well-being”.

According to an online survey carried out by Ofsted, almost all parents would so as far as to recommend the school to other parents.

Pupils behaviour was also praised and kids were said to have a positive attitude towards their education.

Diane Deans, headteacher of White Court School, said: “We are very pleased with the outcome of our recent Ofsted Inspection which confirms that our school continues to offer children a good education.

“The report highlights the hard work and commitment of our school community: children, staff, governors and parents.

“We are very proud of them all.”

White Court School was also rated good in 2013.
