A GROUP of budding police officers are taking on a special challenge to raise money for charity.
Students from the Essex Police College will be at Freeport, Braintree, on Saturday between 10am and 6pm attempting to cycle as far as possible on an exercise bike during the day.
Members of the public are being asked to guess the total distance the group will reach, with the winner taking home a £100 shopping voucher.
There will also be collection tins around Freeport for extra donations during the day.
All of the proceeds will go to InterAct, a charity dedicated to improving the emotional wellbeing of young people with disabilities.
Chameleon Costumes, based on the Springwood Industrial Estate, have donate some costumes for those taking part to wear.
