REVELLERS travelled back in time at a pop-up Tudor event at the historic Cressing Temple Barns.
Members of The Companye of Merrie Folke engrossed visitors to the Cressing Temple barns on Saturday and Sunday.
Dressed up in period costume, they gave an insight into what life would have been like at the venue during the 15th century.
Rose Goundry, chairman, said: “It was great to chat with visitors and meet some delightful children – who sat engrossed making pomanders and clay pilgrim badges.
“We want the events to bring places to life so that they have less of a ‘museum feel’, giving some insight into the day-to-day lives of people in times past.
“Cressing Temple is such a special place — and very beautiful too.
“You can wander through the grounds and look back through centuries of history on one site.”
