A MAN in his forties was flown to hospital by air ambulance after a crash between a motorbike and a car.
Church Road, Rivenhall, was closed from around 4pm on Monday after the collision between a black Yamaha motorcycle and a white Mercedes van.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust said: "We were called to a road traffic collision on Church Road in Rivenhall at 3.56pm on Monday.
"An ambulance, three rapid response vehicles, an ambulance officer and the Essex Air Ambulance attended and treated two patients.
"A man in his forties with leg injuries was flown to Addenbrookes and one was discharged from scene with a suspected seatbelt injury."
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
