STAFF and relatives of residents at two care homes raised more than £1,500 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The New Deanery and St Mary’s Court in Bocking organised 27 people to take part in a six-mile walk around Bocking and High Garrett.
Jo Crosby, head of activities at the New Deanery and St Mary’s Court, said: “It was brilliant.
“The weather was glorious and it was fantastic for everyone to come together to raise money for this brilliant cause.
“The money we have raised will help to fund new research to hopefully find a cure for dementia soon.”
