AIRPORT workers have voted to strike in a dispute over pay.
Up to 30 GMB union members who operate the security scanners at Stansted Airport will walk out at the weekend.
The workers voted to strike by 87 per cent, in a turnout of 80 per cent.
They want a 3 per cent pay rise and have rejected the company’s 1.5 per cent offer.
The first strike will take place on Saturday, September 13, from 3.45am until 23.59pm, the second will happen from 3.45am until 1pm on Sunday, September 14.
