Posst office set for new lease of life
A Post Office is set for a new lease of life and extended opening hours.
The current branch in The Street, Hatfield Peverel, will close and be replaced with a modern open-plan style branch at the Co-op food store further down The Street.
The new Post Office will be open seven days a week for an extra 50 hours in comparison to the current opening times.
There are parking bays for four cars in front of the store, with extra roadside parking on the opposite side of the road and a layby within 20 metres, which provides a safe drop-off point for customers.
