AN 11-YEAR-OLD whizzkid has found hard work equals success after being awarded an A grade in GCSE maths.
Micah Waring was put up for the test six years early by teachers at Templars Primary School in Witham after they spotted his potential.
Mum Helen Waring, 42, said: “We are extremely proud of him. He has been spending his year working throughout the GCSE syllabus.
“He said the exam is a way of being able to measure his progress and we thought if he gets a C it would be a fantastic feather in his cap.
“When he got his results through, he got an A.”
Micah sat the tricky exam as an external candidate at Rickstones Academy on his 11th birthday.
