A man was taken to hospital in a critical condition after going into cardiac arrest.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called at 11.30am on Wednesday to reports of a man, believed to be in his late 60s, suffering with chest pain.
An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and air ambulance were sent to Gurton Road, in Coggeshall.
The air ambulance landed on Honywood Community Science School’s field.
Crews were able to get his heart beating again and he was taken by land ambulance to Basildon Hospital in a critical condition.
