Young adventurers helped to officially unveil a huge high ropes course which towers 9.5m above a country park.
The £462,000 Sky Ropes course in Great Notley Country Park, Braintree, was opened today after Essex County Council and Braintree Council pitched in to fund it.
Adults and bigger children - taller than 4ft - can take on the 9.5m course, which takes around 75 minutes to traverse the ropes, beams and bridges.
Younger thrill-seekers can take on Junior Ropes, which is a lower, 30 minute course for children aged two and above who measure up to 4ft tall.
Entry to the Sky Ropes course, which is the only high ropes area in the district, will cost £10 and entry to Junior Ropes is £4.
