Bus-users will have to fork out more to travel on Sundays from next month.
Essex County Council are raising the price of their Sunday Saver tickets - which can be used on any qualifying bus service in Essex on a Sunday - from June 14.
This is due to the price being "significantly out of line with commercial fare levels" after remaining unchanged since 2006.
A single adult ticket will rise in price from £2.80 to £4, a single child ticket will rise from £1.50 to £2 and a family ticket will rise from £8 to £10.
