Police investigate thefts from unlocked cars in Braintree
Police are investigating a series of thefts from unlocked cars in Braintree.
Thieves took belongings from nine cars parked in Broad Road, Elizabeth Lockhart Way and Lyons Hall Road at about 6am on Saturday.
A handbag, bank cards, sat navs and loose change were all stolen from the cars.
Officers believe the male suspect ran off across fields back towards Broad Road.
