A teenager who chose to have her leg amputated in her battle against bone cancer has been surprised with a visit from singing sensation Pixie Lott.
Olivia Coughlan was treated to the surprise visit thanks to Wipe Away Those Tears - a charity aiming to bring sparkle into the lives of seriously-ill children in Essex.
Pixie Lott, who recently starred in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, took a couple of hours out of her busy schedule to visit the shocked 15-year-old at her home in Witham Road, Black Notley with Pixie’s mum and brother.
Olivia had no idea she would be visited by the star and the pair chatted about Strictly and Olivia’s recovery for about an hour.
Olivia’s mum Debbie, 50, who works at Tesco in Great Notley, said: “It was a really nice surprise and it went really well."
