Speed limits on the A120 are being reviewed after a horror smash caused a car to be pushed under a lorry.
The Highways Agency will conduct traffic surveys at Surrex and Broad Green to establish whether the speed limit needs changing, after a woman miraculously escaped without serious injury from a crash which caused her car to be crushed between two lorries.
The woman’s Volkswagen Golf was pushed underneath the lorry in front, which in turn collided with two other cars, on December 9.
A Highways Agency spokesman said: “We will be carrying out traffic surveys early next year and the data will be used to inform our review.
“Safety is a top priority for the Highways Agency and we remain committed to improving safety on the A120.”
