Do you know anyone who is home alone on Christmas Day?
The Salvation Army is organising its annual meals service for Braintree residents.
Organiser David Mann said: "We are prepared to deliver meals within a three mile radius of Rayne Road.
"Requests for about 30 meals out have come in so far but we have the capacity this year to do a few more.
"Names, addresses and postcodes can be phoned in to me as late as Sunday.
"People wanting company on Christmas Day can join us at lunchtime for a meal at the Salvation Army hall in Rayne Road.
"Lifts can be provided for people from a reasonable distance if required."
