This brazen thief stole thousands of pounds of rare silver in less than three minutes.

The man was captured on CCTV stealing from a cabinet at Bocking Antiques Centre in Bocking End, Braintree, just after 10pm on Monday night.

He is seen coming into the room, jemmying open the glass door and filling a bag with items before leaving, all within about two-and-a-half minutes.

Rayne couple Martin and Daisey Crossman, who own the unit where the items were stolen, discovered the theft on Tuesday morning.

The stolen haul, including rare Tiffany silver and rings, is thought to be worth up to £6,000.
