Readers have been sending us their spooky Halloween pictures.

These impressive pumpkins were carved by Stuart Turner, 38, of Hatfield Peveral.

His wife Katy, 29, said: “He is a polisher for the Lancaster company in Witham and he is very artistic at all sorts, drawing, painting, craft.

“He never thinks he is good but he does it every year for the kids. They choose and this year he did frozen as my daughter Isla wanted him to.”

In Braintree foundry worker Gary Miller, 52, of Tabor Avenue, has decorated his house with lights and spooky models to raise money for charity.

He said: “I think I’m the only one on my street who decorates my house outside for Halloween, this is about the 5th year I’ve been doing it.

“Hopefully I will get a lot of people come round to look and there will be collection tins and leaflets outside to raise money for Essex Air Ambulance.”

Mr Miller said once the decorations come down he will start preparing to put up Christmas lights, again to raise money for charity.
