A MAN in his 60s was taken to hospital yesterday after police and paramedics attended an incident in Guithavon Street in Witham.
An Essex Police spokesman said police were called at about 5pm on Wednesday, October 29, after concerns were raised for the man's welfare.
The spokesman said armed police attended because of fears the man could have weapons.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the man was not seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Broomfield Hospital.
