Beer lovers raised more than £3,000 for the upkeep of a historic barn.
Grange Barn in Coggeshall, a National Trust property, hosted its sixth beer festival from Thursday to Sunday.
Stuart Banks, head ranger for the Essex coast and countryside, said: “It went really well.
“I’m not sure how many people we had as it’s quite difficult to keep tabs on people coming in and out.
“But we sold nearly 2,500 pints of beer and made over £3,000 for the National Trust.”
Mr Banks said the money will be reinvested in the 13th-century monastic barn, one of Europe’s oldest timber-framed buildings.
