A brave fundraiser collected almost £700 in a charity skydive for Rethink.

Kevin Law, 35, of Trotters Field, Braintree, took part in the tandem dive at the end of April.

He chose the charity as he suffers from a personality disorder, depression and anxiety, and wanted to repay their support over the past two years.

He said: “Having mental illness for most of my life has been a struggle.

“But since I started going to Rethink Mental Illness’ art group in last year I have had a lot of support and made good friends.

“This is my way of saying ‘thank you’ to the staff at the charity and to raise awareness of mental health.”

He hopes to reach his target of £1,000 for more information visit justgiving.com/KevinLaw
