Witham: Shoppers have a say on supermarket's expansion plans

More than 300 shoppers have had their say on a supermarket’s multi-million pound expansion plans.
A Morrisons spokesman said there had been a “phenomenal” response from shoppers at its Braintree Road shop in Witham during a two-day exhibition on Friday and Saturday.
The retailer is making a second bid to increase the retail sales area by about 40 per cent, creating 50 new jobs and expanding the fresh fruit and vegetables section.
