Detectives are still looking for two suspects in connection with a car-jacking at a village school.

Police have already arrested and bailed a 19-year-old man on suspicion of robbery after a woman was robbed of her BMW 116 in the car park of Feering Primary School on Monday.

Officers were called shortly after 9.30pm to reports three men had threatened the 54-year-old Braintree woman outside the school in Coggeshall Road, Feering.

They took her handbag and forced her to leave the car before driving off.

Police officers, the force dog unit and National Police Air Service helicopter tracked it down at 10.20pm near the Fortune of War, Laindon.

A man from Leyton, east London, has been bailed until October 28.

An Essex Police spokesman said the victim was unhurt but is still recovering from the shock of her ordeal.

Anyone with information about the robbery should call detectives at Chelmsford Police Station on 101.
