Braintree: Lois, three, is a karate star

Karate chopping Lois Turner was the youngest competitor in a national contest - despite only going along to cheer her dad and brother on from the sidelines.
The three-year-old won first place in her category for tile breaking and third place for foam sword sparring in the Dragon Black Belt Academy International championships at Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, last weekend.
