Witham: Woman gets court fine after ignoring litter warnings
A woman has been fined after ignoring warnings over a period of four and a half months to clear rubbish from her garden.
Andrea Pearce, of Philip Road, Witham, was taken to court by Braintree Council for failing to comply with a litter clearing notice served on her in April.
Pearce, 39, had failed to respond to numerous letters, notices and visits from Braintree Council instructing her to remove the rubbish.
