Braintree: Man in coma after car smashes in to tree
Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash that left a father in a coma.
The man, named locally as Danny Fogg, was one of four occupants of a blue Honda Prelude which crashed in to a tree in Shalford Road, Panfield shortly after 8pm on Wednesday.
The four men were taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford after sustaining a variety of injuries.
But Mr Fogg, 22, was later transferred to Cambridgeshire’s Addenbrooks Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
