Witham: Cash stolen from carpet warehouse
A three figure sum of cash was stolen from the premises of a carpet warehouse on Wednesday night.
The money, £130 in cash, was taken from Ramsden Mills, on the Chipping Hill Industrial Estate, in Braintree Road, Witham.
A police spokesman said: “Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a break-in at Ramsden Mills.
“They have smashed their way through a showroom door between 7pm on October 10 and 8.30am on October 11.
“Anyone with information is asked to call Braintree police station on 101.”
