Braintree district: Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming back to town.
Hoards of runners will don white beards, big black belts and the requisite red suit to pound the streets of Braintree and raise money for East Anglia's Children's Hospice.
It is the second Santa Run to be held in the town after more than 40 runners ran 2km around the town centre and hope to raise at least £2,000 last year.
The event will start at 10am on December 2 in George Yard and finish in the shopping centre.
Registration for adults is £10 including Santa suit, or £8 without and £5 for children aged 13 and under, including a santa hat.
