Braintree Council is getting a new chief executive
A new chief executive is set to take over at Braintree Council.
Nicola Beach, who joined as a corporate director in June 2010, will replace Allan Reid who retires on December 31.
Mr Reid, who has been with the council for 17 years - nine of them in the top post - reverted to a three-day week in January in the run up to his retirement.
