Witham: Football writer challenges pupils

Teenagers could win the chance to attend an England football match.
Former FA journalist Dan Freedman has challenged pupils at New Rickstones Academy in Witham and Clacton Coastal Academy to compile a pitch to make his books into a children’s television series.
It is part of an English project and to encourage pupils to read for pleasure.
Dan, now a football novelist, will pick the overall winner to see England play San Marino and attend the after match press conference.
