A family photograph on New Year's Eve spurred a mum's mission to drop from a size 30 to a 16.

Nikki Rains, 35, had type two diabetes, high blood pressure and arthritis in her left knee.

The smallest amount of exercise left her needing to sit in front of a fan to cool down because she would be trickling with sweat.

She is 16st 6lb and no longer on blood pressure medication. Her target is to be 12.5st and a size 16.
