Witham: Yellow lines allegedly painted over by residents are repainted

YELLOW lines allegedly blacked out by disgruntled residents have been repainted.
A set of lines in Mortimer Road, Hatfield Peverel were mysteriously painted over in black paint in November last year.
It was believed they were blanked out by residents unhappy with new parking restrictions.
Hatfield Peverel Parish Council had complained about the length of time it had taken the North Essex Partnership, the body responsible for the lines, to reinstate them.
However they were repainted earlier this month.
