Film crews descended on a Braintree beauty salon to film the finale of a BBC show.

Hotel Inspector, Alex Polizzi, has spent three months working with the owners of Martini’s Pamper Parlour in Barn House Court, to help them turn round their struggling business.

On Wednesday night they revealed the revamped shop to customers and VIPs including Lauren Pope from The Only Way Is Essex.

Salon owner, Asti Martin, said: “We decided to call in the show, which will be called The Fixer, after we got in to a bit of a crisis last year.
