Braintree: Man wanted on recall to prison

Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

Martin McCarthy, who has breached his parole, last lived at Twin Oaks in Stisted.

He is described as white, stocky, and about 5ft 6ins tall,

He has a scar over his right eye, a one-inch scar on his right arm and scarred knuckles.

The 27-year-old unemployed man has previous convictions for burglary.

Anyone with information in connection with Martin McCarthy’s whereabouts is urged to contact Essex Police on 101.

Just burglary? With all those scars I can only imagine he must have maybe an inner ear problem and so keeps falling into things to attain all that 'scarage'! Things like people's fists and foreheads and maybe the odd knife? LOL

I'll help the poor burdened and clueless (in all senses of the word) local gendarmes, shall I? Maybe they should check out the Nag's Head in Braintree. On any given day of the week, one or two of Marty's mates might be seen enjoying a wee drink or two in there.
